Fast Track Service, Entering Japan so Easy with MySOS App

What is Fast Track?

Fast Track is a new service offered by the Japanese government to enter their country. This service can save time and hassle, which can simplify the arrival process by pre-registering for airport quarantine actions via the MySOS application before landing.

What is Required?

First of all, all you have to do is download the MySOS app. MySOS is one of the applications that must be installed on smartphones when entering Japan to monitor health and confirm quarantine locations later. Including those who are released from quarantine, they can still use the application to send all the necessary Covid-19 documents, such as negative test certificates and health questionnaires. With this application there is no need to show documents physically when you are at the airport.

According to Timeout, Fast Track's pre-application must be completed at least 16 hours before arriving in Japan. After the application is installed, it is necessary to have a passport number and a negative Covid-19 test certificate taken 72 hours before departure. Vaccination certificates are optional, but if you have one, they can also be included.

How to Use Fast Track?

To register documents, open the MySOS app (from outside Japan) and select pre-registration for quarantine procedures. From there, follow the instructions to fill out the required questionnaires and health appointments, as well as submit a vaccination certificate and a Covid-19 negative certificate.

After the information is added to the application, the document will enter the review process. When the screen is green, the document is ready to use, but if the screen is yellow, it means that you still need to show a negative test certificate at the airport. As for the red screen, there is a problem with the application and repeating the registration process. When you arrive at the airport in Japan, all you have to do is show the screen colors.
